Captain Koomson, Business Consultant, joined UT Financial Services in 1999 as a Project Officer and rose through the ranks to the position of General Manager-Operations and Director, Operations. Captain Koomson holds a ‘Certifikat’ (Degree) in Industrial Personnel Management from Germany where he also absolved numerous courses and gained extensive experience in Logistics.

He has over 20 years experience in personnel management having worked as the Head of Logistics Department and subsequently the Head of Personnel Department of Stockheim GMbH & Co KG at Dusseldorf International Airport (with oversight of four other airports) in Germany.

He had a short but adventurous carrier with the Ghana Army having served in roles as Presidential Guard commander, Adjutant AFRC HQ, GSO III (INT) 1 Bde HQ and retired as a Captain in 1982. Captain Koomson was appointed to the UT Holdings Board in 2006. He is a fellow of the Imani Group, a think-tank group in Ghana
